This guide explains how to implement an RFID/NFC card controlled barrier system. After the RFID/NFC reader reads the card, it transmits the card ID to the control PC for analysis. If the ID exists in the database, the Control PC will turn the gate control relay to ON for 20 seconds to open the gate. When the vehicle has finished driving in, our detection barrier radar will close the barrier.
Advantages of this car park solution:
Simple structure and low cost. There is no need to record licence number plates and no need to purchase expensive licence plate recognition systems.
Disadvantages of this car park solution:
Cannot record licence plate .
In summary: This is a simple parking fee management solution that is very common in regions such as Africa and the Middle East. Only an RFID card is needed to control the automatic barrier gate to open the gate and release the traffic.
Configuration of a Parkinglpr.com gate barrier radar can be achieved, to prevent the fall of the pole hit the car, and the function of automatic gate drop.
As shown in the figure, the road gate barrier will raise its pole when the vehicle owner uses the RFID card against the RFID reader.
The cost of this RFID reader-opened gate barrier solution is very low.
Using our ParkingLPR’s RFID reader all-in-one device can be realised without the need to link to a computer.
